Reception Connect™

Talk for as long as you like… all calls through our Reception Connect live phone answering service are UNTIMED!

This includes calls connected to you via your landline or mobile phone.

Our Australia-based receptionists can answer your calls in your business name promptly and professionally every time. They can then connect the call to:

  • you
  • any member of your team
  • a specific department in your business

If the person or department requested is un-available to take the call, the receptionist will take a message and forward it to the appropriate person or department.

It's just like having your own receptionist!

Reception Connect: Calls answered for you, then connected to you or a message taken.

Once your call has been answered in your business name, the caller will be asked to hold for a moment. The receptionist will call you (or the requested person/department in your business) on your specified contact number and if you choose to take the call, your caller/potential new customer will be instantly connected to you.

If it isn’t a convenient time, the receptionist will take a brief message and forward it immediately by SMS to your mobile phone and send a back-up copy of the message to your email address.

The message will also be posted to your online Customer Portal for your records

Reception Connect Live Phone Answering - Standard script

Your calls will be answered based on our standard script below. Our experience has shown that this script works the best for most busines requirements.

“Good Morning ABC Pty Ltd, this is Mary speaking, how can I help you?”
Caller
“Can I speak to John please?”
Operator
“May I ask who's calling??”
Caller
“Sam from abc company.”
Operator
“One moment please, I’ll see if he is available.”

Operator dials John on his contact number. If John answers, the operator will then tell him who is calling and if he is available to take the call, will connect the call to John.

If John's contact number is un-answered or it’s an inconvenient time for him to take the call, the operator will get back to the caller.

Operator
“I'm sorry, but John is unavailable at the moment. Can I ask him to return your call as soon as possible?”

Receptionist takes caller's name and phone number and, if volunteered, a brief description of the enquiry and repeats back to customer.

“I will pass the message on and he will return your call as soon as possible”

John's messages will then be sent to his mobile phone immediately via SMS and a backup copy will be sent to his email address for his records.

Copies of messages can be sent to more than one person (eg. a copy of a staff members message could also be sent to a manager).

Things you should know about our Live Phone Answering : Setup is $25 for Master account and (if applicable) $10 for each namelist/team member. Minimum term 3 months, then month to month. 1 full calendar months notice required to cancel. Initial 3 month Minimum Plan costs: Messages 24/7 $87+gst; Team Messenger $117+gst; Reception Connect $147+gst. Plans can be upgraded/downgraded during the first 5 days of the billing cycle (calendar month). Message SMS sent to more than one recipient incur an additional fee. Reception Connect: Untimed connection applies to calls connected/patched through by the Live Answering Receptionist to your Australian landline, VoIP or mobile final answer-point number. If caller is routed/redirected to the Live Answering Service after calling your 1800, 1300 or 13 number, normal call rates apply to the 1800/1300/13 number component of the connected call and are not part of the included, Untimed call.
